New York City artist Matt Nolen was trained as a painter and architect, and is currently working on sculptural, architectural installations using ceramics and other components.

The Museum of Arts and Design, New York, NY. will be acquiring SlimFast Dispenser,1994 as a promised gift of Lynn and Jeffrey Leff. The work will be on display when the museum opens in its new building on Columbus Circle in September 2008.
The M.H. de Young Museum, San Fransisco, CA. is acquiring Tranquility Set, 1996 as a part of the 200+ piece collection of Sanford Besser. The work will be one of 130 objects featured in a full color catalog of the collection with an essay written by Timothy Burgard, Curator-in-Charge of the American Art Dept., The Fine Arts Museums of San Fransisco.
The Houston Museum of Fine Arts has recently acquired Texas Tea, 1993 as a part of the Garth Clark collection purchase.
